Happiness is an Inside Job

Can a Simple Book Change One's Life?

Dear Ms. Harpenau,

It is a sunny, Sunday afternoon here in Scotts Valley, California, about 5 miles from the Pacific Ocean, 60 miles southwest of San Francisco. The weather has finally turned to summer, after a long, cold winter by California's standard.  Yes, I know, nothing like the occasional bitter winters of Europe, but all the same, we here in "sunny" California do turn dismal when the sun decides to take a longer vacation than usual.

I write to let you know that I have recently read "The Life Codes".  To say that it has touched my heart is an understatement of great proportion!  I believe that the universe does conspire to bring things into one's life when they are needed most, and your book has been brought into mine at such a time.  My life has been difficult for the last 6 or 7 years as I have seen my mother decline due to Alzheimer's, my marriage dissolve and a business venture fail.  Throughout all of this, I have kept my spiritual faith, as I do believe that the one most important distinction we have as people is that we are born in the image of God and are here to experience creation in all of its forms.  I attribute much of my success in the past to being able to "enlighten" people with the thought that they can achieve anything as long as these dreams are accompanied with focus, faith, and gratitude...

I received the gift of your book a week ago as I perused the tables at our local metaphysical/new age bookstore...there it was, one copy, sandwiched between 5 or 6 other books much larger in size and girth...but that little purple book called to me..."pick me" it said, "I am here for you..." I passed it by at first...then I remembered to listen to that voice from within.  I read the codes in less than 1 day.  Then a second reading.  Then answered the questions and reflected on the words.  I asked others about "my greatest talent" and was delighted at the words I received in response.  The work has reinvigorated me in many ways.

I cannot remember the last time I have read a book that has simultaneously caused me to cry and shout out with elation!  What a book!  What a story!  The truth of it resonates in my heart.  The clarity of it resonates with my soul.  So, how does one say, "thank you"
when the words seem so inappropriate to the gift given?  Maybe this short email will touch your heart and validate that your work has genuinely affected another in such a beautiful way.  This is truly a book that I will share with many, as it is a great gift and so needed by humanity at this time!  Thank you, from my heart!

"May Yahweh bless and protect you.  May Yahweh let his light shine over you and keep you safe.  May Yahweh be in your life, and may peace always be with you. Amen"

"Peace to your heart, peace to your home and to those in your life. Amen"

Respectfully and with heartfelt gratitude,

Gary Roberts
